In Auckland recently, the Belonging Initiative, co-hosted by Standards Plus, ran a conference to address the issues of isolation and loneliness as a major disabling factor in the lives of people with disabilities.
Participants ranged from professionals working in the community to families of disabled individuals.
We would all like to thank evolu for supporting this conference with a sampler of their beautiful products and a generous discount for participants. It was wonderful for us to be able to offer, especially to families, a personal treat with which to indulge themselves.
Having a well balanced life can be a challenge for all of us, more so with the additional demands made on families living with disability.
